Eligibility Policy

Do I need to be over 18 to order?

Yes. By placing an order with us you confirm that you are 18 years of age or over. This also means anyone who you are sending the order to must be over the age of 18 as well.

We may require you to confirm your age in connection with your use of the site. In some cases, our delivery partners may ask for a valid photo ID on delivery. If valid ID cannot be provided, the delivery may be refused and returned to us and a refund cannot be guaranteed.

Product & Ingredients

Are your cocktails ready to drink or are they kits?

Our cocktails are all ready to drink. Nothing needs adding, you just shake and pour over ice.

What is the alcohol content (ABV)?

Our cocktails have a range of ABVs, from 10% to 26% depending on the cocktail.

Do you offer non-alcoholic options?

Yes we do. We have a wide range of alcohol-free options. They contain alcohol-free spirits so be aware they may taste similar to alcoholic cocktails.

Are there allergens in your cocktails?

Some of our cocktails contain allergens. These will always be shown on the single cocktail pages, but please refer to our allergen information below.

Are your cocktails suitable for vegans?

Our Espresso Martini, Salted Caramel Espresso Martini and Chocolate Espresso Martini are not suitable for vegans due to the coffee liqueur. Our Perfect Manhattan is not suitable for vegans as it contains milk.

Where are your cocktails made?

All of our cocktails are mixed, packaged and sent from Clapham, Bedfordshire in England.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes, our bottles and boxes can be widely recycled.

How many cocktails does a bottle make?

Our large, 275ml bottle will serve 3 cocktails. Our mini, 100ml bottle will serve 1 cocktail.

Storage & Shelf Life

How should I store my cocktails?

All of our cocktails should be stored in a cool, dark place. They may be kept in the fridge but this is not a requirement.

What is the shelf life?

The shelf life for cocktails containing fresh coffee (Espresso Martini, Salted Caramel Espresso Martini and Chocolate Espresso Martini) is 7 days from arrival. Any other cocktail, including non-alcoholic, has a shelf life of 28 days from arrival.

Delivery & Shipping

How long does delivery take?

Our delivery options include:

  • 24hr Tracked via Royal Mail – 1–2 working days
  • 48hr Tracked via Royal Mail – 2–3 working days
Can I choose a delivery date?

You can choose a specific delivery date when adding the item to your cart, there is a small section called ‘Delivery Date or Special Request’.

Please be aware that we will do our very best for delivery to be on the exact date requested but in circumstances beyond our control, this may not be possible.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged or with any missing products, please contact us at hey@letterbox-cocktails.com and we will do our best to resolve the situation.

Do you deliver internationally?

We unfortunately do not deliver internationally.

Orders, Changes & Returns

Can I amend or cancel my order?

If you would like to amend or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. In some cases, your order may have already been processed and shipped to you.

What is your returns policy?

Regrettably, due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept online returns for products purchased.

If your order is missing an item or contains a damaged product please email us at hey@letterbox-cocktails.com. Please quote your order number in any correspondence.

I entered the wrong address — what should I do?

If you have entered the wrong address when checking out, please contact us immediately. We are able to amend shipping addresses but in some cases when your order has already been processed and shipped, we will no longer be able to change any addresses.

Gifting & Packaging

Are your cocktails suitable for gifting?

We like to think our cocktails make the perfect gift. Every order is wrapped with white tissue paper and arrives with everything required to create a truly great cocktail. Gift notes can also be added inside the box to make it even more personal.

Can I send an order directly to the recipient?

Yes you can. When checking out, amend the shipping address to the name and address you would like your cocktails to be delivered to.

Is pricing included in the box?

All orders come with a packing slip as standard. These do not contain any prices of the products but do show the name and address.

Please write in the notes if you do not want us to include the packing slip in your order.

Are your boxes letterbox-friendly?

Our boxes fit in standard letterboxes. There are some cases where due to larger orders or certain products, the order will not fit in a standard letterbox.

In this case, please add a safe space option in your delivery notes so we can get your order to you as safely as possible.
