Making Your Corporate Gifts Memorable

Making Your Corporate Gifts Memorable

Success in corporate gifting requires moving beyond obligation into genuine relationship building. Letterbox cocktails provide tools for creating memorable experiences that strengthen business connections rather than simply fulfilling expectations. The key lies in matching gifts to recipients and timing to circumstances. A well-chosen cocktail sent at the right moment creates far more impact than expensive items given without thought or consideration. Consider corporate gifting as an investment in relationship building rather than an expense to be minimised. Gifts that create positive associations with your brand generate returns through strengthened loyalty, increased referrals, and enhanced reputation within your industry. Your business relationships deserve better than forgettable gifts. Choose presents that create experiences, demonstrate thoughtfulness, and provide genuine value to recipients, as well as ones you can personalise. The difference between obligation and appreciation often lies in the details that show you've considered what recipients will actually enjoy and remember.
Budget Considerations and Value?

Budget Considerations and Value?

Corporate gifting budgets vary enormously, but value shouldn't be measured purely by cost. A £15 cocktail that creates genuine pleasure and lasting memories often provides better return on investment than a £50 gift that gets forgotten immediately. Bulk discounts make quality cocktail gifts accessible for larger employee groups or extensive client lists. The per-unit cost decreases with volume while maintaining the quality and presentation that makes recipients feel valued. Hidden costs of traditional gifts often exceed initial prices. Hampers often contain items recipients don't want, and vouchers can get mislaid. Cocktails avoid waste while providing consistent value to all recipients. The marketing value extends your gift's worth beyond its immediate cost. Every time recipients make their cocktails, they see your branding and remember your gesture. This repeated exposure creates advertising value that continues long after traditional gifts have been consumed or forgotten.
Bespoke Gifting Options

Bespoke Gifting Options

Customisation transforms corporate gifts from generic items into thoughtful gestures. Cocktail selection can reflect recipient preferences, company values, or shared experiences. A client who mentioned loving whiskey receives an Old Fashioned, while someone who prefers lighter drinks gets a fruitier selection such as a Mojito. Branded packaging offers subtle marketing opportunities without overwhelming the gift itself. Company colours, logos, or messages can be incorporated tastefully, ensuring recipients associate positive experiences with your brand. The key lies in enhancement rather than domination – the gift should feel special rather than promotional. Bulk ordering doesn't require sacrificing personalisation. Different cocktail types can be assigned to different recipients, ensuring everyone receives something suited to their tastes. Logos and colours can be changed. This attention to individual preferences demonstrates care and consideration that recipients notice and appreciate. Seasonal timing creates additional opportunities for differentiation. November and December are key times for gifts, but sending cocktails in summer for outdoor entertaining or in spring for celebration shows thoughtful timing and avoids the holiday rush.
The day our CEO went on the 1% Club

The day our CEO went on the 1% Club

On my bucket list has always been to go on a game show. I have never been very good at quizzes and don't have any specialist subject knowledge to speak of, but I can spot a pattern and apply logic. So after 3 applications to go on the show, I finally got the call that I had made the cut and secured a place on the show! In June this year, I traveled up to Manchester and spent a fabulous Saturday at the studios with 99 other contestants filming the show. It is true to say that it was a LOT harder being in the studio than answering questions whilst sitting on the sofa. The pressure of trying to take in the content of the question was at times overwhelming, especially when there were a lot of words to read, and those 30 seconds go so quickly. There are no secret extra seconds, no opportunity to change your answer, and if you haven't locked your answer in at the end of the time, that's on you, and you are probably out. I went out on 15% - it was a hard question, I just couldn't get my head around it at the time, but it seems obvious now (of course). Ironically, I got the answer right to all the rest of the questions, including the final 1% question, but it was easier once the pressure was no longer there and I could answer without fear of getting it wrong.  The best part for me was being spoken to by the host, Lee Mack, which even made the final show, and I got to mention our little business, which makes me super proud! I may not have made it into the 1% Club but I did make it onto the TV and for me that was a win! If you didn't get to see the show, it is episode 3 of the latest series on itvx.
Doing markets is not as easy as you would think!

Doing markets is not as easy as you would think!

We have been working on two separate market stalls today - one in Woburn and one at Bromham Apple Day. Preparing and carrying out a market takes a lot of work, much more than you probably realise. Firstly, you have to prep. This includes working out how much stock to take, what might sell best in each location, and how to display it all in a way that catches people’s attention. Then there’s the packing: boxes, signage, tables, cloths, bags, and enough backup supplies to handle anything the day throws at you (including the British weather, and it did rain most of the day). Once you arrive, it’s all about setting up fast, looking professional, and being ready to talk to customers from the moment the first person wanders over. Every conversation counts. It’s not just about selling cocktails, it’s about telling our story, building the brand, and making people remember us so that they think about us in the future. Running two markets at once adds a whole new layer. Two sets of logistics, two locations, and two teams all needing coordination, stock management, and smooth communication. It’s a mini operation, but one that reminds us how powerful in-person connection can be for a small business. Markets are long days. They test your stamina, your organisation, and your smile muscles. But they also remind you why you started, because there’s nothing quite like seeing someone taste your cocktail for the first time and say, “Wow.” Two markets, one weekend. A lot of work for sure, but even more reward.
Employee Recognition That Actually Works

Employee Recognition That Actually Works

Internal gifting presents different challenges from client appreciation. Employees may receive numerous company gifts throughout the year, making it harder to create genuine surprise and gratitude. Letterbox Cocktails offer something most employees haven't received from previous employers. The home delivery aspect feels more personal than office-based gifts. Employees can enjoy their cocktails or mocktails in their own time and space, making the experience feel like a genuine treat rather than a work obligation. This privacy also means everyone can enjoy their gift regardless of office politics or peer pressure. Timing flexibility becomes particularly valuable for employee recognition. Rather than forcing celebration during work hours, Letterbox Cocktails allow people to choose when and how they want to mark achievements. Some prefer immediate celebration, others save special drinks for weekends or special occasions. Team-building opportunities also come from cocktail gifts. Employees often choose to have their drinks together, either virtually or in person, creating organic social connections that strengthen workplace relationships. These shared experiences happen without forced team-building activities or mandatory social events. So, if you are thinking of sending your team members a gift this holiday season, have a look at something that they can enjoy at home.
Self-Care Through Cocktail Rituals

Self-Care Through Cocktail Rituals

Drinking cocktails at home creates moments of joy and mindfulness in our busy lives, and we all need that when things are hectic. If you make the cocktails yourself, the process takes attention and care, providing you with an opportunity to stop looking at your phone or laptop. Whether you’re alone or with others, cocktail preparation can become a form of meditation. The key here is in treating cocktail-making as an event rather than just drinking. Once made, take time to appreciate flavours, discuss preferences, and enjoy the social aspects of sharing drinks with people you care about. Home cocktail experiences offer control over pace, environment, and company that public venues simply can’t match. You decide the music, the conversation topics, and when the evening ends. You can take a bath, relax and pamper yourself whilst drinking a cocktail you enjoy and can make as big as you like. This control creates more relaxed, authentic experiences that often prove more memorable than nights out. Quality time at home doesn’t require elaborate planning or significant expense. Sometimes the best evenings emerge from simple ingredients, good company, and drinks worth savouring slowly.
The Letterbox Cocktail Advantage

The Letterbox Cocktail Advantage

Letterbox cocktails solve multiple corporate gifting challenges. We have many options available, whether you’re saying thank you to clients, welcoming new starters, rewarding teams, or planning an event, our premium bottled cocktails make it unforgettable. We are unique enough to stand out, practical enough to be appreciated, and flexible enough to suit different relationships and budgets. The personalisation options set us apart from standard offerings. Custom labels featuring your company branding create subtle marketing opportunities without feeling pushy. Recipients see your logo every time they make their cocktails, reinforcing your business relationship without having to say it. Delivery matters enormously in business gifting. Letterbox compatibility means no failed delivery attempts, no awkward office receptions, and no concern about recipients being home to receive packages. The gifts arrive when convenient for the recipient, creating positive rather than stressful experiences. The experience factor extends your gift's impact beyond the initial surprise. While traditional gifts provide momentary pleasure, cocktails create anticipation and ongoing enjoyment. Recipients can choose to enjoy them for themselves or share the experience with family or friends, who then also learn about your business indirectly.
